Commission, maintain, and provide emergency support on UPS systems, battery plants, PDUs, and STS at customer sites across our New England territory.
Perform and manage battery load, impedance, and capacity testing; interpret results and make replacement recommendations.
Perform commissioning-focused design reviews, prepare commissioning test procedures and reports, and coordinate and oversee on-site testing.
Attend periodic training on various OEM units and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain certifications.
Troubleshoot equipment issues, leveraging manufacturer technical support as necessary.
Participate in the development of Methods of Procedures (MOPs) and be expected to consult with supervisor(s) concerning unusual problems and developments. Supervise and train other service technicians.
Mentor, train, and supervise junior technicians, including field coaching and sign-off on their work.
Complete Field Service Reports and site documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Identify service, repair, and upgrade opportunities on site and bring proactive recommendations back to the customer and to our sales team.
Participate in the on-call rotation supporting 24/7 emergency response.
At our company, we value honesty, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic above all. If you're passionate, eager to learn, and willing to grow with us, we’d love to hear from you. On-the-job training can be provided.
