The Marketing Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on matters pertaining to the Chief Marketing Officer, Marketing Leaders and Marketing Department.
Performs a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CMO and Marketing Leaders including: managing active calendars; composing/preparing correspondences that are sometimes confidential; arranging marketing meeting itineraries, and agendas; compiling documents for marketing meetings; and coordinating events, sponsorships and charitable activity with store personnel and outside organizations.
Plans, coordinates and ensures the Marketing schedules are followed; acts as "gatekeeper" to Marketing function.
Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CMO and Marketing Department, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature.
Assists in providing a bridge for smooth professional communication between Marketing, internal departments and outside business partners.
Manages special projects and assists in creating materials used for proposals, correspondence and presentation materials and reports for the CMO and Marketing Leaders.
Assists PR/Events coordinator in special events, projects, contract management and mailings.
Organizes and assists in the implementation of promotional events, sponsorships and charitable activities.
Completes all assigned deliverables i.e. acknowledgement letters, business correspondences and other tasks in direct support of the CMO and Marketing Leaders .
ASSOCIATED FUNCTIONS:
Attend special events as appropriate, occasionally requiring evening and weekend hours and travel. Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelors degree and/or five to ten years’ experience as an executive administrative assistant. VALID DRIVERS LICENSE.
Travel 10-20%
Experience with both Mac and PC. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn our internal software programs
