The Marketing Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on matters pertaining to the Chief Marketing Officer, Marketing Leaders and Marketing Department.

  • Performs a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CMO and Marketing Leaders including: managing active calendars; composing/preparing correspondences that are sometimes confidential; arranging marketing meeting itineraries, and agendas; compiling documents for marketing meetings; and coordinating events, sponsorships and charitable activity with store personnel and outside organizations.

  • Plans, coordinates and ensures the Marketing schedules are followed; acts as "gatekeeper" to Marketing function.

  • Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CMO and Marketing Department, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature.

  • Assists in providing a bridge for smooth professional communication between Marketing, internal departments and outside business partners.

  • Manages special projects and assists in creating materials used for proposals, correspondence and presentation materials and reports for the CMO and Marketing Leaders.

  • Assists PR/Events coordinator in special events, projects, contract management and mailings.

  • Organizes and assists in the implementation of promotional events, sponsorships and charitable activities.

  • Completes all assigned deliverables i.e. acknowledgement letters, business correspondences and other tasks in direct support of the CMO and Marketing Leaders .


  • Attend special events as appropriate, occasionally requiring evening and weekend hours and travel. Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelors degree and/or five to ten years’ experience as an executive administrative assistant. VALID DRIVERS LICENSE.

  • Travel 10-20%

  • Experience with both Mac and PC. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn our internal software programs

  • Excellent communication skills
