New Client Development Specialist - Brookfield, WI

New Client Development/ Hunting sales role:

This is a hunting position for a given skilled individual who is highly motivated to open up doors, engage with new potential right fit prospects, qualify a need and then bring in Sales Engineer to assist with designing solutions. The sales position is responsible for meeting sales goal set by President (current acting sales manager), prospecting, following company sales process, ensuring company CRM is up to date with all prospecting and new sale opportunity information. We offer a unique solution model for organizations ranging ideally from 25 to 250 users, but also provide services for clients outside of this target audience as well. Our company provides a consultative sale to the customer to properly understand the client’s Technical challenges, review needs and work with design/engineering team to develop a plan to help resolve organizations technical challenges. We offer products and services in 4 key divisions:

  • Voice/Telephony/VoIP

  • IT (support Client IT systems)

  • Network Services (cisco switching. routing, security and telephony)

  • Camera Surveillance Solutions


The position will be responsible to use provided resource and general online tools to locate prospective client opportunities and general sales meetings. This position will work with Sr Solution specialist/Designer and Sales Director for training for a period of 3 months to 1 year. Opportunity to get involved with marketing materials, marketing campaigns and programs will be made available for those who qualify.


This is a ‘hunter’ (locate new clients) based sales rep position. This position will include prospecting activities such as cold calling via the phone or in person, sending our prepared company literature and prospecting emails.


Our company will expect weekly reports, updated opportunities within the Connectwise CRM for consistent tracking of progress and direction. It is expected this role will be effectively able to qualify clients on their own before engaging Sales engineer to know needs, budget and understand the buyer styles for the pending next steps. Qualifying opportunities, filling and maintaining pipeline with consistent sales success meeting sales revenue, margin and monthly recurring agreement sales goal targets.


There also will be organization improvement aspects included in this role as we work to develop this into the future potential leadership position. Participating in process review, process documentation, sales meetings, lead sales meetings or training sessions internally will be a part of the responsivities.


Technical Skills Requirements: Sound understanding and ability to work with Microsoft office tools (excel, word, PowerPoint) as well as other online or internal software. Ability to create documentation, client meeting summaries and general sales literature on per client basis. Strong professional writing skills and sound typing skills is a must.


Non-Technical Skills Requirements: The ability to Prospect without close management supervision and desire to get after new things. Looking for someone who is self-motivated and eager to learn. Needs to have general understanding of how to sell and general understanding of a sales process from prospecting to closing a sale.

Experience: Past experience in selling is a must. Business to Business sales experience is preferred but would consider any past sales experience with successful sales record to support. Connectwise CRM experience is preferred and Connectwise certification/trainings will be required based on role type.

Education: Degree from a 2-year technical institution preferred but will consider experience in lieu of formal education. Sales training class or education is a plus.


Salary

$45K-$55K with total compensation of $85K-$95K.


*Must have 2+ years of consultative B2B sales experience. Previous experience in Telecommunications/IT Solutions/Low Voltage is a plus!
