If so, a member-owned life insurance company located in Madison, is looking for top talent to join our exciting new Direct to Consumer sales team!

As an Inside Sales Agent, you won’t have to drive to sales appointments or make cold calls. You will be provided with leads every day and conduct all consultations and sales over the phone.

Work regular business hours, earn a base salary of $35,000 plus additional bonuses, and take advantage of our comprehensive benefits package!

Our exciting inside sales opportunity allows you to focus on providing customers with modern life insurance solutions in a friendly, convenient and caring way right over the phone. Responsibilities Include:

  • Help customers (in 12 states) secure life insurance by selling policies over the phone.

  • Contact provided leads and members via phone and email, accept incoming calls and conduct follow-up activities.

  • Provide guidance to clients by using our needs analysis process and utilizing your life insurance expertise (we will train you)!

  • Help new members through the application and underwriting processes.

  • Become a product expert on Term Life and Final Expense products.

  • Maintain a friendly, helpful tone while also effectively closing sales.

  • Effectively and professionally communicate with members via multiple communication channels.

  • Use our proprietary systems and tools to administer sales and service functions.

  • Provide actionable feedback to our management team to help drive process improvements.

  • Meet established benchmarks and individual performance goals.

Position Requirements:

  • Drive, desire and competitive spirit

  • Inside sales telephone experience a plus

  • Competitive salesperson with strong customer service skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to efficiently use basic technology (Microsoft Office, CRM and quoting tools)

  • Great attitude and team player

  • Problem-solver with a passion for helping the team and company exceed targets
