Fleet Coordinator/Administrator - Madison, WI

The Fleet Coordinator/Administrator helps plan and coordinate a variety of logistical and technical functions to ensure the efficient and effective management of the company’s fleet of equipment and vehicles.


ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains the inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment.

  • Reviews weekly equipment reports and follow up with users on discrepancies.

  • Collects information from Fleet Administrators to make equipment transfers.

  • Tracks the inventory of rental equipment including issuing in/out, including recording pertinent dates.

  • Monitors vehicle GPS record keeping, reporting, and data request.

  • Reviews weekly equipment reports from field leaders and input data into equipment tracking software.

  • Coordinates with licensing and registration departments.

  • Assists with Vehicle Titling, registration, and other related documentation.

  • Organizes documentation of fleet and equipment tracking.

  • Checks vehicles and equipment in yard for verifying equipment tracking.

  • Develops reports and tools associated with tracking equipment.

  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in Business Management or related field preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years of construction equipment tracking experience.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and shift priorities as necessary.

  • Basic understanding or ability to quickly learn the specific equipment and facilities to be maintained.

  • Ability to maintain basic records.

  • Ability to understand written directions in manuals and on manufacturer websites.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as required to complete and maintain records.

  • Strong communication skills


WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 20% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable, and lighting and temperature are adequate. Work is generally performed within an office environment with standard office equipment available.


SALARY

$19-$22 an hour
