Director, Inside Sales - Remote Position

The Director, Inside Sales is responsible for optimizing the performance of the Inside Sales Support teams and managing sales activities to ensure KPI goals are met each day. Inside Sales Support is comprised of Strategic Account and Enterprise Account teams who are tasked with creating opportunities for existing accounts and growing revenue from active customers to exceed quarterly sales goals for each territory.


The Inside Sales Manager reports directly to the VP, Sales and has routine contact with the other members of the Sales Team and Executive Team.


Job Description


Inside Sales Team Development / Mentoring:

  • Recruit, hire, develop, train, coach, and motivate a team of Inside Sales Representatives (ISR)

  • Oversee all ISRs supporting captured customers

  • Develop effective benchmarks for optimum team performance

  • Ensure that the ISR team meets their budgeted growth goals

  • Instill sense of urgency within the ISR team to ensure all customer needs are addressed in a timely manner

  • Delegate account management tasks as you see fit


Proposal Management:

  • Coordinate and attend kick-off calls with Operations and Outside Sales for new customers

  • Manage the facilitation of T&M proposals derived from Field Service Reports (FSR) recommendations

  • Oversee proposal generation from customer requests

  • Ensure a proper financial review is completed before proposals are submitted to customer


Project Management:

  • Oversee ISR team to coordinate calls with customers and subs to ensure proper SOW execution and timely job completion

  • Oversee ISR team for management of emergency calls within customer base during the event and through completion

  • Direct ISR team to perform follow-ups with the customer upon completion of an event with proper close-out of case to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Collaborate with the Scheduling department to ensure client requests are managed to the best of our availability to stay current on all scheduled work

  • Act as the escalation support person to communicate with the customer for any challenges that arise during e-calls

  • Provide escalation support for the Inside Sales, Outside Sales, and Field Ops teams on assigned accounts


Sales Management:

  • Responsibility for cultivating new opportunities within the account base

  • Ensure effective prospecting and pipeline development to increase pull-through business

  • Travel, as required, to visit current customers to foster future business growth

  • Assist Accounting department with resolution of billing disputes and ensure accounts are kept current

  • Other duties as assigned by management


Education and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a mission critical service sales position

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Flexibility to work overtime

  • Responsible, dependable and organized work habits

  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM a plus

  • Proven track record of exceeding personal quotas and/or team quotas

Salary

Base Salary is DOE + Bonus
