Client Executive -Employee Benefits – Madison, WI

We empower our associates to provide exceptional support & guidance to our clients and employees. As the Client Executive you will be ultimately responsible for the retention & satisfaction of your client base.


  • Strategic service focus: Develops client strategies to manage plan costs and guide client through a multi-year planning process. Uses data analytics and current market trends to meet client objectives. Acts as a quarterback with our services teams to ensure the achievement of greater results. Advocates for changes and additions to our service platform that increase the value for our clients.

  • Proactive & scalable service orientation: Independently owns a book of business up to $1M in revenue. Manages the level of service provided to assigned accounts to meet department revenue, profitability and retention goals and client expectations. Builds constructive and effective relationships at all levels of the client organization, comfortable with healthy tension situations.

  • Technical knowledge: Demonstrates knowledge of managing fully insured and self-funded clients. Seeks understanding of current & emerging market trends and consults with clients. Reviews compliance & disclosure requirements, vendor & carrier contracts and employee communications.


Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Wisconsin Health and Life insurance license.

  • 4 year college degree and/or minimum of 5 years prior account management experience in a broker or insurance carrier environment.

  • High degree of self-motivation, ability to make decisions when faced with ambiguity.

  • Embraces change and experimentation. Strong communication skills with experience giving & receiving constructive feedback.

  • Disciplined with time management and able to meet tight deadlines.

  • Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of other multi-media applications helpful.

Working Conditions:

  • Position will be headquartered in the Madison office, travel to our Pewaukee office and client locations are expected. A valid driver’s license is required.

  • We offer a hybrid working environment with three days in the office and up to two days at home.

Salary

$100K-$120K
