Client Advocate – Pewaukee, WI

We empower our associates to provide exceptional support & guidance to our clients and employees. As the Client Advocate, you will work individually and as a team in the areas of client relationship building and advocacy, customer satisfaction, and client retention. This role requires prompt and courteous service to clients, ownership and personal accountability of work, advanced problem-solving skills, and outstanding communication & empathy skills.


  • Client service focus: Liaises client questions with insurance carriers and TPAs, navigating enrollment, claims & eligibility, and compliance questions on behalf of each employer or member. Efficiently manages work & communicates with clients in a way that makes each inquiry feel like it is the only inquiry of the day.

  • Creative problem solving: Takes ownership of issues, documents inquiries, and escalates. Client Advocates collaborate with team members to propose new solutions to problems and work within the department to imagine and deliver unique client service experiences.

  • Communication & empathy: Actively listens to client questions then works the inquiry through to resolution, anticipating the next question and proactively solving for it. Provides timely and thoughtful communication back to the client via phone and email.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Wisconsin Health and Life insurance license or obtain one within three months of hire.

  • Experience working in the employee benefits industry, compliance knowledge is highly preferred.

  • Desire to acquire knowledge of advanced employee benefits & human resources topics.

  • Strong oral and written communication, with the willingness to escalate challenges.

  • College degree or relevant work experience.

  • Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of other multi-media applications helpful.

Working Conditions:

  • Position will be headquartered in our Pewaukee office, occasional travel to our Madison office and client locations are expected. A valid driver’s license is required.

  • Regularly work during our core business hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm

Salary

$70K-$90K
