Account Executive Battery Projects – Anywhere in the US

The Account Executive will work with a dedicated team to support the entire sales & project execution process. The role will largely Project Manage the Sales Opportunities in which they have quoted for continuity. Occasional travel may be required to assist in proper quoting or on-site presence during project execution. Prior experience quoting & supporting large-scale battery projects is required.


As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Quote generation; create accurate proposals for defined sales opportunities. Utilize internal tools to source job requirements, request pricing from vendors, contact customer to verify details, finalize and distribute quotes.

  • Review and assist with RFP's from Key Customers with support from Project and Sales Teams.

  • Apply experience with basic electrical theory, battery applications to assist in solutioning products and services.

  • Review maintenance reports, identify equipment in need of replacement, generate quote opportunities based on reporting data.

  • Perform routine customer follow up on quotes, leads and general communication touch points to maintain account relationships.

  • Perform technical support as needed to solution the Customer with various equipment needs while considering lead times, compatibility, electrical requirements.

  • Develop project schedules; outline project dependencies, deliverables, trade-specific work schedules. Develop Scope of Work summaries which support the project.

  • Process Purchase Requisitions in accordance with Project Schedules.

  • Communicate with logistics vendors; documentation and tracking to ensure deliverables arrive as designed.

  • Handle billable service visits from quote creation, coordination with client & FSE, updating case through to completion.

  • Job coordination includes obtaining authorization from client, placing parts orders requests, coordination with schedule coordinator (such as providing detailed job scopes, maintenance windows), purchasing (tracking parts stay on schedule) & field, ensuring job completion for timely invoicing.

  • Keep accurate & updated sales opportunities, order status updates, and project logs.

  • Research specialty parts or suppliers for pricing, lead times, etc., as directed. Proactively seek out service partners, new vendors to obtain competitive advantages.

  • Attend company meetings, trade shows, customer outings to represent the company & promote sales efforts.


Education/Experience

  • Associate degree or Bachelor Degree desired

  • 5+ years Sales and/or Project Management experience supporting Battery Applications in one or more of the following industries; Data Center, Health Care, Telecommunication or Education.

  • Experience with CRM such as Salesforce.com, MS Excel, Outlook, MS Word, MS Teams

  • Battery Training Certifications or Accreditations a plus

  • Must have experience with batteries/UPS and project management.


Salary

$90K-$110K
